Whatever your next step—university, college, an apprenticeship, or employment—at some point you are likely to face an interview. That’s why we hosted an interview day, designed to equip students with the skills and confidence to succeed in any interview scenario.
During the day, students had the unique opportunity to meet university admissions officers and volunteers from a variety of professional backgrounds, gaining first-hand experience of being interviewed by someone unfamiliar with them and their personal statements. This fresh perspective allowed students to see how they come across to others and receive constructive feedback.
The aim of the day was to:
Provide insight into improvements that could be made to personal statements and interview applications.
Help students develop and refine their interview technique.
Boost confidence so students feel prepared and self-assured for the interviews ahead.
